Ksenia and Maksim traveled to South Africa for their honeymoon after getting married in Russia. They decided to commemorate their trip with a wedding photo shoot at Botlierskop Private Game Reserve, just outside Mossel Bay.

Her name is Katya Donova. She is the founder and creative soul behind Russian wedding agency called “Wedding Geographic”. She is the wife and mom of two beautiful kids. Katya organised multiple destination weddings for her guests, but never had a chance to celebrate her own somewhere far and beautiful. During her visit to South Africa we decided to celebrate their 4 year wedding anniversary in a real “Wedding Geographic” style. What a privilege to photograph Katya and Kirill. High School sweethearts Carla and Gerhardt exchanged their wedding vows on the 1st of August 2015, in front of their family and close friends, at the farm-style wedding venue Uitsig.
Utsig is situated at the foot of the scenic Outeniqua Mountains, outside George, and the venue offers a beautiful garden, ideal for wedding photos, with lots of fresh air to keep the nerves calm. There’s also the odd cow and some beautiful trees, which offers the perfect setting to play with the soft afternoon light.

I will definitely remember Monique and Gerhard’s wedding for a long time to come.
These guys are free spirits and true romantics. Just a few hours before the ceremony Gerhard was still sending Monique love letters and they couldn’t wait to see each other at the ceremony! They were excited like high-school sweethearts out on a first date!
And what a beautiful ceremony it was…
The Barn in Plettenberg Bay was transformed into a wonderland wedding venue: elegant, cosy and quaint.
I thoroughly enjoyed the photography, especially working as a team with talented videographer/photographer Eon Coetzee from Eon Media. I am so excited to see his wedding video.
That day there were so many touching speeches and funny jokes. Things that cannot be completely captured, but lives on in memory for years to come.

Alina and Sergey came to South Africa all the way from Ukraine to join Unravel Surf Travel on a Surf Expedition to KwaZulu-Natal. And guess what, they decided to get married while on surf tour with us! How romantic is that?!
It was a very spontaneous decision, as with so many truly romantic decisions, and preparations for the event only started weeks before the date. What a task! Dreams from Ukraine became reality in South Africa and, from opposite sides of the planet, a special wedding was taking shape!
Even the most challenging projects are possible when you’re part of a dream team. And thanks to our incredible hosts, Ali and Richard, Umzumbe Surf House was transformed into a wedding venue overnight!
We surfed in the morning and in the afternoon we had a beautiful wedding ceremony, on the shores of the Indian Ocean! Alina and Sergey celebrated their union in the company of their closest friends, in a truly special location. Now that’s what I call a memorable wedding!
