Boudoir photography is the art of capturing the sensual nature of femininity. It is a celebration of a women’s beauty.

I imagine boudoir style to be a mixture of elegance, sexuality and internal beauty shining through. Boudoir photoshoots can become very therapeutic through accepting your body and celebrating its beauty. Most of my boudoir photographs stay unpublished due to the privacy concerns. ILZE’S BOUDOIR SHOOT

I was privileged to photograph a wedding day of a beautiful couple Ilze and Tal. Ilze decided to make a special gift to her future husband and take boudoir photographs. Boudoir shoot was arranged on the wedding day in the lovely vintage Sun Room at Portland Manor, Knysna. I had to slightly crop the images to keep them more private. Few weeks ago I had a boudoir photoshoot with beautiful Vicky. Boudoir genre of photography usually creates sensual images of women or couples.

I find it very therapeutic for a woman to take part in this kind of work. It is a way for women to explore their feminine side and sexuality.
